How to Install iExplorer

Last Updated: Apr 28, 2017 02:06PM CDT
iExplorer can be installed on a Mac or PC just like any other other MacOS or Windows applications. For step-by-step instructions, please see our installation tutorial by clicking HERE.

The system requirements can be found by clicking HERE

You don't need to install anything on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to use iExplorer. Your iDevice just needs to be to connect to iTunes and show up in iTunes via its USB cable (with no critical errors). Some users can get confused about this since iExplorer is a transfer utility for Apple devices and the data on them, but due to the rules of the iOS App Store, no iOS app can do what iExplorer desktop can do.  if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod is not appearing in iExplorer on your Mac or PC, see our article for My device isn't appearing in iExplorer even though it's plugged in.
