I can't update iExplorer 3 to the newest version

If you are unable to update iExplorer 3 to the most current version when using Check for Updates, you can just download and reinstall iExplorer 3 from one of the direct download links below:

iExplorer 3 for Mac: https://macroplant.com/iexplorer/download-ie3-mac 
(After dragging this new version to your Applications folder, choose to Replace the existing iExplorer)


We are currently investigating an issue where Check for Updates... in iExplorer 3 isn't working correctly for some OS versions. The most current versions of iExplorer 3 are 3.9.11 for PC and 3.9.14 for Mac, and as always, we definitely recommend using the most current version of iExplorer for the best functionality and features.

Just note though that iExplorer 3 only supports iOS 1-9 and all regular iPod OS. If your device has iOS 10, you would need to download and use iExplorer 4 instead which requires a different registration code than iExplorer 3 since it's an all new major version of the software and considered a new product.
