Can't export calendar from iphone and do not want to refresh or

Lisa Mar 10, 2015 11:05PM CDT

I bought this app for one specific reason. -- To export a calendar on my iphone to my computer. I purposely have not synced my calendar with iTunes due to the fact that prior backups do include an older version of this calendar and iTunes would overwrite the calendar on my iphone.

The message that pops up when I try to export the one calendar is "Choose 'Refresh' to load the latest backup data from the selected device. This may overwrite your most recent iTunes backup. Otherwise, simply show data collected from the most recent backup.

Please tell me what I should do.

Since you are using a Mac, you can actually archive the older backups which will protect them from being overwritten, or you could just go through them in iExplorer and use the Export buttons to make copies of your calendar and other data outside the iTunes backup. Our support article below explains more about this:

How to keep a safe backup with iExplorer

Once you’ve archived the older backups or exported your data from iExplorer, then it’s safe to Refresh which will make a new iTunes backup and load everything that is on your device currently.
