Can't find the .app file

Sreenivas May 13, 2015 12:28PM CDT

Hi,
I have installed an app on my iphone. Installed the demo version of iExplorer and am looking at each of the files. There are many files that I can see and access. I am looking for the .app for the application and can't find that. Please help.
Also, is it because I am using a demo version that I cannot see the .app file?

Thanks in advance

The demo version still gives you full access to what your specific iOS version allows, but for the .app (dot app) subfolder, it’s been read-only since iOS 6 and even hidden in iOS 8. The articles below explain more:

Why can I no longer make changes to the .app (dot app) subdirectory of an app?

App folders in iOS 8.3 are empty. Why is that?

As they mention, you would need to Jailbreak in order to get around the file permissions of that folder.
