Cannot See or Access Notes

The only thing I really wanted from Iexplorer was to be able to download my Notes and save them on my PC. The Notes are the only thing that Iexplorer does not see, does not download, and I cannot find them in iTunes back up either. It shows the Folder, but "0" notes. Help?

Did you upgrade your iDevice to iOS 9? If you did, please open your Notes app and choose to upgrade your notes to the new format/style (where you can now draw sketches, add photos, maps attachments, and more).

Then, make a new backup in iExplorer by right-clicking on Notes in the left panel and choose to Back Up Now.
