Copying edited photos from iPhone - New feature?

Ed Heyman Aug 05, 2016 09:57PM CDT

It would be nice to provide a simple way to export photos that you have edited (i.e. adjusted color, cropped, etc) on the iPhone and not just exporting the original untouched photos. I spend some time editing and adjusting the color of photos on the oPhone using Apple's built in edit feature and want to export the final edited photo. I found that the edited photo exists in Media -> PhotoData -> Mutations -> DCIM -> xxxAPPLE -> IMG_xxxx -> Adjustments as file: FullSizeRender.jpg (there is also a plist file). I can copy these files by mounting this folder as a disk, but each file has to be renamed and is in its own folder under IMG_xxx. This creates additional time consuming work to manage each edited file. I've read you can use AirDrop to transfer an edited photo to your downloads folder, but I haven't tried that yet (in addition I wouldn't be using iExplorer). Having this copy edited photo option as a new feature in iExplorer would be great!. Thank you.
