Cannot export a photo nor drag it to my desktop on my Mac Book Pro 10.11. also will not export to itunes.

First, photos can’t be imported to iTunes since they aren’t technically iTunes media. You can configure sync for photos, but it’s only from a folder or from Photos app or iPhoto before that on a Mac. For transferring photos to a folder, please see the following articles and tutorial:

I am having the same issue. These answer was no help. I cannot download to a folder or to photos. Also frag and drop to my Mac does not work. Using 10.11.16. This application is useless to me if I cannot drag and drop photos.

@Web What happens when you choose one of the export options to export your photos? Are any of your photos grayed out in the iExplorer window? If some of your photos are grayed out, please see this help article:
